Space Lounge Chair for Fritz Hansen
Sale Price: $1,040.00 Original Price: $1,300.00

The Space Lounge Chair, created by the German design duo Jehs + Laub in 2007, was conceptualised based on the notion of enveloping the sitter in the comforting embrace of a hand. The chair’s design featured lines that evoke the winding paths, roads and fields of a landscape. Crafted from black lacquered synthetic for the shell and steel for the base, the chair is unholstered with a textured black fabric in four seperate sections. There are some scratches to the synethic shell and a small chip to one of the chairs. The base also shows signs of wear. There are two chairs available (one in better condition than the other). If you would like a more in-depth condition report / photos, please get in touch. Comes with authentic maker’s labels. Sourced in Sydney.

An iconic set of three cream/beige ABS plastic nesting tables, designed by Giotto Stoppino for Kartell in 1968 and winner of the Compasso d’Oro award in 1970. The scalloped edges and interlocking form make these one of the most recognisable pieces of Italian Space Age design. Each table has the Kartell name pressed into the underside.

Offered in fair vintage condition, honestly priced to reflect the age and wear — discolouration, surface scratches, and a burn mark are present. A solid opportunity to own a design classic at a realistic price.
