A rare chance to acquire an authentic Eames LCW in striking red‑lacquered birch plywood, recently offered from a private Sydney collection where it has resided for over 15 years. A hallmark of Charles and Ray Eames’ celebrated seating design—first shown in 1945 and widely acknowledged as a defining object of twentieth‑century design—this example retains the LCW’s iconic sculptural form: the compound‑curved seat and back, the elegant plywood spine, and splayed wooden legs that create the chair’s characteristic low, relaxed stance.
The vivid red lacquer gives the piece a bold, graphic presence that feels simultaneously true to its era and perfectly at home in contemporary interiors. Original maker’s labels are present on the underside. The chair is in good vintage condition and displays honest patina and surface wear consistent with genuine age—crazing and casing to the lacquer that speak to a life well lived and impart a depth of character no reproduction can match. Drawn from a line of modern tables that mix marble and glass on a slim steel frame, the Mohana coffee table leans into industrial charm with a relaxed, refined vibe. The roomy table uses a practical two-tier design with contrasting surfaces—handy, stylish, and full of thoughtful details.
This pre-loved piece is in good condition with minor wear: slight scuffs to the smoke-fluted glass and a small chip at the left-hand corner of the Nero Marquina polished marble top, which is not obvious at first glance and does not detract from the table’s use or design. There are a few additional marble marks (see photos).
Sourced in Sydney and made in Italy, the table bears the original label beneath the marble. Designer: Tim Rundle, 2017.

First designed in 1967, the KD28 Table Lamp is a standout of Space Age design and shows Joe Colombo’s knack for rethinking everyday objects. Its shape actually evolved from the top of an umbrella stand Gino Colombini made for Kartell in 1966 — a neat example of how Italian designers were riffing off each other back then.
The lamp pairs a glossy sculptural ABS base with a soft opaline dome that gives off an even, ambient glow. One of the coolest things about the KD28 is that it’s stackable — you can pile several together to make a dramatic column-like floor lamp, so it works both as a sculptural object and a practical light.
This is an original vintage piece in the classic black — not a modern reissue. It’s in good vintage condition however the previous owner performed a minor repair to the lightbulb holder where it had come away, using adhesive to reattach it to its original position (see photos). The repair is not visible once the dome is in place. There are also minor signs of wear consistent with its age, keeping that bold contrast and high-gloss finish that collectors love.
