The Space Lounge Chair, created by the German design duo Jehs + Laub in 2007, was conceptualised based on the notion of enveloping the sitter in the comforting embrace of a hand. The chair’s design featured lines that evoke the winding paths, roads and fields of a landscape. Crafted from black lacquered synthetic for the shell and steel for the base, the chair is unholstered with a textured black fabric in four seperate sections. There are some scratches to the synethic shell and a small chip to one of the chairs. The base also shows signs of wear. There are two chairs available (one in better condition than the other).
