Originally designed in California in 1948, the Case Study Arm Shell Rocker was created as an entry into The Museum of Modern Art’s International Design Competition. This fibreglass chair has since become one of the most recognisable and influential designs of the 20th century. This particular version by Modernica- revived in 2000, features a natural-toned fibreglass shell, paired with a maple timber rocker base and black wire frame. It has been well cared for over the past 10 years, with only minor signs of use.
Sourced in Sydney, the chair includes the original Modernica stamp on the underside of the seat.
