Believed to have been custom made, this armchair shows clear inspiration from Finn Juhl’s iconic Model 192, reflected in its sculpture timber frame, gently curved arms and considered proportions. The design balances lightness with strength, allowing the joinery and silhouette to take centre stage — very much in the spirit of mid-century Scandinavian craftsmanship.
The solid teak timber frame has been stripped from its previous old paint finish, sanded and refinished in a Scandinavian oil with a wax rub, enhancing the warmth of the timber and revealing the natural grain. The result is a soft, tactile finish that feels both honest and refines.
The beige vinyl seat and backrest were added by the previous owner and remain in excellent condition with no tears, scratches or holes. The neutral tone complements the richness of the teak beautifully, offering a timeless palette that works across both modern and vintage interiors.
