These rare sculpted lamps were manufactured by Laurel Lamps in the mid 1960s in New Jersey. The lamp is made of a walnut veneer moulded to a metal base with a black leather strip along the bottom of the base. This lamp was first offered in the walnut finish before being offered in chrome. The lamp is in good vintage condition with a few minor wear marks consistent with age. The drum shade is made of linen and is new. I have used a standard lampshade (original was a harp mount lampshade), converted by using E27 adapters. The lamp has also been re-wired to the Australian standard. Maker’s sticker with manufacturer’s name and issue was sadly removed as it is illegal to display old American voltage stickers after a rewire. Please see photos for authenticity.
