A beautiful vintage mirror with a hand-carved timber frame full of ornate acanthus leaves, fleur-de-lis details and pierced decorative work. Once finished in gold gilt, it’s been carefully restored — stripped, sanded and hand-polished in a rich walnut with a subtle black rub that brings out every carved curve and shadow. The warm, earthy finish feels both rustic and refined, letting the craftsmanship take centre stage. The open-fretwork frame gives the piece a lighter feel despite its bold presence. The original beveled glass remains, showing gentle age marks and patina; the frame is in solid, good condition. Versatile and timeless, it would work well in a hallway, living room or bedroom and suits rustic, bohemian or eclectic interiors.
