Vintage 1980s Serpentine Style Table Lamp
$720.00

A striking example pf late 20th-century Italian-influence design, this white mushroom dome table lamp dates to the 1980s and makes a bold statement in any interior. The lamp features a large, rounded opaline plastic shade mounted to a curved off-white arm, rising like a coiled snake hugging a solid circular base.

Built with notable heft and quality, the lamp feels substantial in hand- a hallmark of well-made vintage lighting from this era. The all-white palette gives it a timeless, sculptural quality that works equally well in modernist, minimalist, or eclectic interiors.

The lamp carries no visible labels or maker’s marks and its organs remain unattributed. It bears a resemblance to the iconic Italian space-age design of Elio Martinelli and moves and turns just like the original.

It’s in very good vintage with some wear to the base and arm, as expected for a piece from the 1980s. Shade remains clean and intact.

1980s Chrome Cantilever Nest of Tables with Smoked Glass
$800.00

These striking chrome cantilever nest of two tables are an excellent example of 1980s design sensibility — bold yet restrained, with an emphasis on clean lines and material contrast. The cantilevered tubular chrome frames create a weightless, sculptural silhouette that reads modern and architectural; their simple geometry allows the smoked, tinted glass tops to remain the visual focus while contributing a soft, moody surface that complements the metalwork.

The chrome frames have been polished to restore much of its original lustre; however, there are still light signs of use consistent with age (fine surface scratches and minor pitting visible on close inspection). These imperfections are typical of authentic vintage pieces and add character rather than detract from the overall appeal. The smoked glass tops are in very good vintage condition with only minor signs of use — faint surface marks and the occasional light scuff that do not affect structural integrity or overall appearance.

This set is a versatile piece, ideal as a pair — use separately as side tables flanking a modular sofa or bed, or combined as a low coffee table in front of a contemporary sofa. The lower-profile, cantilever form works particularly well alongside low-lined furniture and minimalist interiors.

No maker’s marks or labels were found. Sourced in Sydney, these tables are offered as anonymous vintage designer pieces — their form and materials align with mainstream 1980s production trends.

This vintage example features a sculptural frame in blonde bent plywood, paired with its original beige canvas sling- a testament to the chair’s enduring craftsmanship. The canvas and rope remain in good condition, with gentle signs of age-appropriate wear that speak to the piece’s authenticity and history.

The seat cushions and armrests have been newly reupholstered in Warwick Fabrics’ Microsuede HG collection in a warm Caramel colour way, offering a soft, inviting texture and a fresh update that complements the natural wood tones beautifully. This blend of original and restored elements makes it a standout piece for both collectors and modern interiors. No maker’s labels on this piece. Sourced in Sydney.
